1. Business Cards
It is very important to market yourself via business cards. You should be making a conscious effort to hand out ten per day at the very least. Have them on you at all times, and keep a supply in your car just in case. When doing business with someone, don’t give them just one business card, give them two, and ask them to refer someone to you. |
2. Mailers and Reminders
Keep a tickler file handy on all of your customers birthdays, kids birthdays, and anniversaries. Send them a card to wish them well on their special occasion. They won’t be expecting it, making them all the more appreciative, it also keeps you in their thoughts, reminding them that they know a mortgage specialist that they can refer should the topic ever arise. It also gives you a reason to send out more business cards and keep them circulating. (more…)

How can you drive “free” traffic to your blog? You can’t. But that’s only because nothing is really free. In the end you caneither buy traffic with money or you can buy traffic by investing time. Time IS money, hence my statement that there’sno free traffic.
If your goal is to drive traffic to your blog and pay for itwith an investment of your time, instead of with gold or coinof the realm, then you’re in luck because that is entirelypossible if you are ingenious enough to figure out the bestways to do it. |
Therein lies the problem. Let’s make believe that time really IS money. Let’s make believe that you only have 10 hours inyour “time bank account” to spend on finding ingenious ways todrive traffic to your blog without writing checks or whippingout the charge card. How should you invest that money?
The answer for most people is to start sniffing around the Internet looking for other people’s ideas and suggestions. You’ll run across all of the amateur ideas like: “Advertiseyour blog on Free-For-All (FFA) link sites” or “join e-mailsafe lists”. Yeah, why not just post ads everywhere saying”Here is my email address. Please SPAM me”. Because that’s allyou are going to get in return. (more…)

Scammers are everywhere you look. Their websites offer to tell you how to make money, how to earn a fortune through affiliate marketing. And yet many people seem unclear on what scams really are.
I’ve heard it argued that if you’re provided with an e-book, it’s not a scam. It doesn’t matter how good the e-book is. It you’ve been given a product in return for your money, it’s not a scam. |
I disagree. I believe that a scam is, quite simply, an attempt to get someone to pay money by being in some way dishonest. This can involve a great range of things, but when it comes to affiliate marketing I have divided into three main categories. I outline them below.
The first is the most obvious: when someone lies about what you will receive for your money. They might claim to give away a free website, only for none to appear when you’ve given up your money. It might be bonus e-books, or a video course that you never get to watch.
Whatever it is, it’s clearly dishonest. This is the easiest type of scammer to catch. By lying about what they offer, they are breaking the law, and there are many genuine affiliate marketers out there – including myself – that wouldn’t hesitate to report them.
Sometimes, they are a bit more subtle. For example, claiming that with the information they give you can start making money in minutes without doing any work at all. If anyone has ever found a program that can really tell you how to do this, please send it to me! Claims like this are clearly impossible, and yet are often written in such a way that they seem completely convincing – and can lead to thousands of people giving their money away. (more…)

You want to know if Pay-Per-Click really can increase blogtraffic? The answer is: Yes, it can. Thanks for reading thisarticle. Have a nice day.
Wow, wouldn’t it be great if the answer really was that easy?Of course pay-per-click is a great way to get a new pair ofeye-balls in front of your world-class blog, but it’s not aseasy as depositing some money into a PPC account and thenwatching your traffic counter spin out of control ten minuteslater even though Google’s web site claims that their GoogleAdWords campaigns can deliver results in an amazing 15minutes! |
With a new blog appearing on the Internet every 7.8 seconds, you’ve got to have a solid PPC strategy to win the hearts andminds of the people who are looking for a new blog to identifywith. PPC is a strategic investment and, like all strategicinvestments, it requires expertise and knowledge of how thatinvestment works.
The first barrier to running a successful PPC campaign ismoney. If you are looking to buy traffic for any of the “hotproperty” key words then you might end up paying as much as$5, $10 or even an unbelievable $50 per click. At those pricesyou’d better be running a blog that has a great monetizationpotential or you could find yourself in the red at the end ofthe first day. Of course, there are words available for as lowas a dime, and many of those words COULD be as valuable as the$50 ones if you know how to pick them. (more…)

The term affiliate marketing is used to describe an advertising agreement between a website owner and a merchant. If you have researched Internet home business opportunities, you know that affiliate marketing is one of the most simple and profitable opportunities on the web. Most affiliate marketing programs cost nothing to join, which means that there is no financial risk involved for you. |
For the most part, getting started is easy. There is no previous sales experience required, and as mentioned above, there is no charge to join most of these programs. Most programs provide all of the marketing materials you will ever need, including site graphics and links. You also don’t have to worry about many of the other things that come with an online retail business, such as inventory, order processing, and shipping.
However, these programs, like any work at home business, requires an organized plan of action if you want to succeed. To assist you in developing a plan, Web Business Tools has created a list of affiliate marketing tools that are essential for every work at home business.
Tool Number One
Your Own Website
When it comes to affiliate marketing, your website is not only your most important tool; it is the key to your success. In addition to being user-friendly, your site should also be credible and professional looking. If you are interested in using one of these programs as an Internet home business opportunity, you will want to begin by building a website that will serve your needs. (more…)

Blogs or more specifically… Niche Blogs are simply blogs that are topic focused and target a specific market and/or niche.
More importantly though, these blogs contain targeted information that their target market is searching for.
This is KEY. |
As an affiliate marketer we are always told that information, whether its an article, review, ebook, ecourse, report, mp3 or pod cast, is a key Pre-Selling tool before your potential customer decides to buy what it is that your offering.
This is where Niche Blogs come into play because of there many capabilities and functions.
The biggest advantage Blogs have is they give you the ability to syndicate your content and/or information through a technology called RSS(Real Simple Syndication).
The types of content you are able to syndicate are as follows:

- Product Reviews
- eBooks
- eCourses
- Special Reports
- Mp3 Files
- Steaming Video(A.K.A Pod Casting)
Are you starting to see the advantages to blogs or more importantly, having a network of affiliate Niche Blogs? (more…)

The great strides made in the development of the Internet in the recent past has enabled information to be transmitted thousands of miles away with such ease and clarity that time and space are hardly of any consequence to the Internet Marketer today.
Marketing Programs have literally taken over the Internet and riding high, is Affiliate Marketing.
According to the Computer Industry Almanac “The world-wide Internet population for 2004 was 934 million and the projection for 2006 is 1.21 billion.” |
Sean Michael Kerner in an article in Click Z News quoting a spokesman for eBay states “According to eBay their largest affiliate earned over $1.3 million dollars in January commission, the largest amount yet in their affiliate program’s history. Their top 25 affiliates averaged over $100,000 per month each and the top 100 affiliates earn almost $25,000 each per month.”
With this sort of statistics around, is it any surprise that thousands of entrepreneurs especially those Home Based Business entrepreneurs with very small marketing budgets are jumping on to the Affiliate Marketing band-wagon! (more…)

Every one wants to make more money. Many of these people turn to online businesses. Specifically affiliate programs. They will look for the perfect market to sell to. They’ll find the perfect products to promote. But yet they still can’t make many, if any sales. |
So what are they doing wrong?
If you look at any successful affiliate marketers you’ll notice that there are 3 things that they will always do. These 3 simple steps can boost your affiliate sales tremendously and allow you to have the income of your dreams.
So what are the 3 steps?
1) Promote each product individually. Don’t just put a bunch of products on one site, but instead create an individual, unique site for each website. And give each website its own domain name. It may cost more money for hosting, and may require more time to create, but the results will be worth it. (more…)

Are you relying too heavily on one Pay-Per-Click advertising network for your affiliate marketing? Some affiliates rely on Google AdWords only, and they are losing out on a great deal of revenue. |
Many affiliates get into affiliate marketing after reading one of the popular ebooks on the topic that are sold online. But most of these ebooks concentrate on training people to use Google AdWords. I figure that is because Google has higher traffic volumes and because it is very easy to quickly set up your first affiliate campaigns. Many affiliates never get past AdWords, though, and that is where they are losing out.
You should already know that it’s never a good idea to put all your eggs in one basket. Particularly when that one basket has seen better days. I can assure you that relying heavily on one advertising network, particularly Google AdWords, is not a smart strategy for growing your affiliate marketing business.
For some affiliate products advertising at the other networks will be even more profitable. In fact you should be using all of the three major pay-per-click networks. They are Yahoo Search Marketing, Microsoft Adcenter, and Google Adwords.
