Writing articles become easier over time.
At first, writing articles can be a struggle. You have to learn how to deal with distraction, think of great article ideas, and try to be as “entertaining” and informative as possible. |
After about 10 - 20 attempts at writing articles, you will find that the process becomes much easier. You start to develop patterns which help the words and ideas flow.
Benefits of writing articles
A well written, informative article can gain you instant credibility in your field. (If you have credibility, there is more of a chance that people will want to buy products and services from you).
A purpose driven article can make a prospect realize that they need a service or product that will make their life better. (While the article describes the product/service, your resource box will show them how to buy that product or service from you)
Articles that are published in well known article directories will show up high in the search engines. This will, in turn, lead more people to your site.
Many websites will reprint your articles with your resource box. When this happens, you have many websites providing a link back to your website. The more links you have pointing to your website, the higher ranking your website will be in the search engines.
A well written “basic” article will give the reader just enough information to crave more. What better way to provide that information for your prospect than having them sign up for your newsletter/e-book. Once someone signs up for your information, there is a 1-3% chance they will buy a product or service from you EVERY time you send out an email to your list.
Write an article a day
In actuality, I would say to write about 2 - 5 articles a day. But, I know that would sound too overwhelming.
As a start, write one well written article a day and submit it to article directories.
Why? Well the benefits have already been written out above. Imagine 365 articles a year floating around the Internet bringing you in business for years to come.
